French TV broadcasts the one and only number of the radically modern TV pop show
Dents de lait, dents de loup, created by Pierre Koralnik and Jean-Pierre
Spiero, for which Serge wrote the theme song. The show includes a duo of France
Gall and Serge Gainsbourg singing "Les
sucettes", but also the Walker Brothers, Marianne Faithfull, Sylvie
Vartan, Claude François, Eddy Mitchell and Françoise Hardy.(Link To Serge Biography page)

I saw the programme a couple of years ago at a friend's house in Paris, together with a few other French pop shows of the the time. Hmm, I don't suppose you've any similar footage of Michel Polnareff, do you?
Anyway, what I love about this clip is that it actually show Serge playing the piano. How much of the piano is ever played by him on the recordings? I've always thought none at all, although I know he performed on the piano early in his career and he's certainly more than competent. It would be great if somewhere there were some private recordings of him doing stripped down versions of songs to his own accompaniment, especially some of the 80s output which for me is often marred by the instrumentation.
An album of Serge doing a Johnny Cash would be wonderful.
