I will not watch AMC until they pull every commercial they run and never play Predator 2 ever again. I don't approve of they way they changed formats. If they were really giving us "Movies for the new generation" or what ever their catchline is, they'd run them uncut and without commercials.

I agree it's unwatchable now. I'm sure they had no choice, financially. But these trailers are cool and they don't have any commercials.

I'm only here for the trailers. AMC bites the big phallus. Broadcasting the same lame (and I mean lame) films over and over again. What's that all about? Are they targetting people with memory loss problems who can't remember if they've seen a movie or not? Thanks for the trailers, though.

Yeah-
I think this festival was actually in 2002 back when AMC was really AMC (remember "American Pop"? That show kicked ass...), I guess no one ever took them down. I have a suspicion that AmericanLife TV might be run by the people who used to run AMC. It's like the old AMC but for TV. Like, they have an old white haired guy that introduces each episode.

Interesting news. AMC has been ruled by a Ney York judge that it's not "classic". Here's the link:

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME THE NAME OF THIS MOVIE!!!!
The scariest movie i have ever seen was in the late 80's and i can't remember the name for the life of me........Can someone please read this description and tell me the name if you know it...........ok....the movie starts out with this family looking for a house.......they finally find one and move in.....the main parts of the movie i remember is.....first..the husband has these flash backs of his youth and it shows him as a child sitting in this old limousine and the camera keeps showing this charlie chaplan character with a pale white face.....he is the driver i believe...with the round hat and everything......he is really freaky looking......well the Husband has multiple flashbacks of the driver throughout the movie....one time during the middle......it shows the driver driving up the driveway of the home.......and it appears to be just a bad nightmare.....but just when the Husband is pulling himself together in a room in the house....the charlie chaplan pale face guy bust through the bedroom door with a casket in front of him and comes charging at him with the casket........the husband is somehow mentally injured to the point that the next time you see him he is in a wheelchair......which takes me to the next most memorable scene. The Husband is sitting by the pool in the backyard while his kids are swimming and all of a sudden the pool water starts making violent waves and the kids are drowning while the father looks on in terror unable to help them since he is unable to move in this wheelchair....the wife finally shows up and the water goes back to normal and she pulls the kids out of the pool........and finally the end of movie should be the best clue of what movie this is...........the husband is ok now....and he and the wife figure out that this house or town is haunted....they decide to leave the house......all during the movie there is supposedly some old lady living on the top floor of this big house.....the husband packs the kids and the wife...and they are ready to drive out......the wife and kids are waiting in the car in the driveway.....when the husband goes to the top floor to say goodbye to the old lady bringing her some food.....as he is saying good bye...all you can see is this big high back chair facing the other way......as he approaches the chair.....it quickly turns around and you see this scary old lady just scream and lunge out at him.....next thing you know he is flying out the window and lands head first thru the windshield of the car his family is sitting in. Next the entire structure of the home which is mostly brick.....starts to crumble like an earthquake and the bricks fall from the top of the home down on to the car killing the wife and the kids....and the movie ends.............i have alway thought that the husband was william shatner but have never been able to find a william shatner movie like this......if someone remembers what movie this is.....i would greatly appreciate if you would email me and tell me the name........thanks Sean knthcole@aol.com

Blood of Dracula Trailer: Mildly campy trailer for the 50s horror flick Blood of Dracula, featuring evil women, black magic, teens, and silly title cards, such as the assertion that “You Will Have Nightmares for a Week!” There’s some mild fun here, but I’ve seen better.
Ratings: Camp/Humor Value: ***. Weirdness: ***. Historical Interest: ****. Overall Rating: ***.

Yes "Burnt Offerings" was the name of that movie. It's main stars were Karen Black, Oliver Reed and Bette Davis as the old Aunt.
