Thank you Cookie for this Friday treat. I've never heard The Zombies version before, but I gotta say that Dusty's version is still the best. It's not often you hear a straight guy say this, but I'm a big fan of hers. Burt should have really written for her as well as Dionne, in my opinion.

I love this song, and it is interesting to hear the various takes on it. I too like the Dusty version better, but the Issac Hayes version, in all its drama, appealed to the theatric side of...lol.
