Man...that was nasty.

"The Special Great One" is a reference to the Judge being a special model of the GTO. Starting in 1968, Pontiac started calling the GTO the Great One in ads.

Does anyone remember a G.T.O. commercial from '68 or '69 where the setting is a car hop lined with Chevelles, Mustangs, Mopars, Camaros etc. and a white Goat pulls in, makes a lap around the restaurant and leaves? I saw it one time on the Speednetwork when they would play old car commercials. It got me so amped up that I wanted to ditch my Nova and become a Pontiac man.

The GTO ad in the car hop was in 1970 and I believe the car was silver. You can find the video at file:///private/var/tmp/folders.501/TemporaryItems/AOLTemp.html or if that does not work, look for it at http://ultimategto.com/
