Anna Evidently this is the first color film shown on French TV. It is very....colorful. Music by Serge Gainsbourg.

I have to see this now!
Completely not what I expcted and completely unsurprising, considering when and where it was made and who made it.
I think more musical comedies should start with opaque references to Mai Lai.

I wish this was in wider release- I got a copy a few years ago that appeared to be taken from a Japanese laswerdisc, but that site doesn't offer it anymore. The CD of the soundtrack goes for more than I paid for that vid!
Still, this movie takes the "you look totally different without your glasses" concept to a ludicrous extreme.

I've just realized that a good part of Beck's 1999 "Sexx Laws" video meticulously reproduces the images from the opening credits of Anna.
