"Grounded For Life" was a great show that never did as well as it should have. It started out on Fox, moved to the WB and ended there somehere in the middle of it's 5th season. It's really funny and well written & the acting is great. Two of the main characters are played by people you're more likely to see in an independent movie than a sitcom.
Anyway, they started showing repeats on ABC Family recently and it's coming out on dvd. Check it out if you like your comedy smart & funny. Buy Grounded for Life - Season One

This show is one of the best shows I ever watched in my life.It has a good plot and great,funny charactors,but its just one of those funny sitcoms that everyone loves.

Good news indeed. I've only seen the Fox episodes. We don't get the WB (or ABC Family) in my neck of the woods, so I've missed many seasons. But if they could maintain the quality, that would be so fine. The first couple seasons were equal to the best family sit-coms ever. Imagine a sit-com where the kids aren't irritating. It can be done!
