Thanx very very much. Brel truly is god.

Wow.
Too bad the sound quality was so rank.
Thanks, though.

This is bloody mindblowing! What a truly extraordinary performance of a truly extraordinary song! Never thought I'd ever see a clip of Scott performing this song, and despite the roughness, Scotts' performance is an absolute revelation!
Brilliant!
Many Thanks,
BAZ

Yesterday and today I have been methodically going through your site, month by month, post by post. You have a keen, kitschy taste that approximates my own and I am finding wonderful media treaasures here. Kudos for taking the time to do this for others! Though familiar with a little of the Walker Brothers (via Bacharach), I didn't really know Scott Walker, nor his covers of Jacques Brel. It's fantastic to turn on to an artist like this through vintage footage. Thank you thank you thank you.
With this clip I was amazed at its candor regarding sitting in opium dens surrounded by shadow men.
