My upcoming CD "There's No Sound In Flutes!" by Spike Priggen will now feature some amazing cover art, thanks to one Mr. Peter Bagge. The title and cover concept are an homage to Buddy Rich, although I wanted a little of the vibe of Peter's "Rock & Roll Dad" in there as well. Peter did an amazing job and was great to work with, so think about hiring him for all your illustration needs. (He was really fast too!). I'd love to see him do more stuff based on the Buddy Rich tapes, like an animated thing along the lines of "Rock & Roll Dad"
I just switched up the songs on my myspace page, there's four new ones from the CD (which won't be released till late summer) that you can only hear here.

There's a story regarding Buddy Rich that I remember hearing about. Apparently, he was on tour with Dusty Springfield and made a rude comment to her. She replied by planting a fist to his nose and flooring him.
