Awhile ago I posted a clip of the Electric Prunes on the Hy Lit Show. I was very pleasantly surprised today when Hy Lit himself left a very nice comment on that post. Go check out Hy's site at www.hylitradio.com. If anyone out there has any more Hy Lit stuff on video I would love to see it.

I grew up listing to Hy lit, I'm now 54 yrs. young. Does anybody remember the saying he used when he would play "your love is like a heatwave" ? It was something about ,,going uptown,downtown, hub cap steelers ?

I remember when I was first getting into becoming a DJ, I went to see Hy at Mr. T's (route 202), Hy had a packed house, I went up to the DJ booth,introduced myself to him and asked him if he would help me get my music, list of songs to start my DJ business, his comment was,as he looked me square in the eyes and giving me a firm hand shake, he said, "It would be my pleasure".
Well that entire evening as I sat and studied him and how he entertained everyone, after each song he named ,for me ,the artist,the name of the song,and the date it came out and when it hit the charts. Hy was a CLASS ACT, I will never forget that night. I'm still spinning at age 57 thanks to Hyski. My name is Ralph Warzy Sr.
