"Shirleys' World" ABC TV Promo.m4v
From the Wikipedia: "Shirley's World is a television series aired first by American Broadcasting Company during the U.S. 1971-72 television season. The sitcom was produced by Associated Television Network and Sheldon Leonard; it starred Shirley MacLaine as a photojournalist and John Gregson as her editor."

Seeing this promo for the first time, I must say I found Shirley's long hair particularly becoming to her. Funny, I don't remember her wearing it that way in any other project. What a shame her show didn't succeed.

The buzz at the time was that Hollywood stars were turning away from movies to tv (Anthony Quinn had a show premiering at the same time). It didn't really amount to anything, but for anyone interested in what was going on at that time in tv, I strongly encourage them to track down copies of Harlan Ellison's two volumes of criticism "The Glass Teat" and "The Other Glass Teat'.
