From the Wikipedia: "The band started with three lead vocalists — Danny Hutton, Chuck Negron, and Cory Wells — who landed a recording contract with Dunhill Records in Los Angeles. They made some early recordings with Beach Boys producer, composer, vocalist, and instrumentalist Brian Wilson, and initially went by the name Redwood. Shortly after changing the band's name, the vocalists hired a group of backing musicians — Michael Allsup on guitar, Floyd Sneed on drums, Joe Schermie (from the Cory Wells Blues Band) on bass, and Jimmy Greenspoon on keyboards — and soon became one of the most successful bands of the late 1960s and early 1970s." What a great song, by either 3DN or Nilsson.
But that horrible crawl across the bottom of the screen! Even more insidious and wrong than the pop-ups. It's as if to say, pay little attention to this musical performance, it is but an artifact from a long-gone time. Check out the campy '60s clothes, read the worthless trivia that we provide ... and then get back to your Britney and Beyonce pronto!

Sorry you found that crawl so offensive. It's a little annoying, sure. I didn't put it there, however. That's the way the video came to me. So it was either post that version, or none at all.
