I got my Great Garloo on Christmas day of 1963. When I woke up, I ran to the Christmas tree and ripped the Christmas wrapping paper off the box. I remember my mother was looking at me and she look so happy because I was happy. I played with my Great Garloo untill I was 25 years. I used to chase my nephew and niece and they were scared.I lost the bracelet, but I still have the medallion with his name around his neck. My Great Garloo does not work anymore, but I have him in my wall unit. I had great time with my Great Garloo and it is part of my childhood memories.

I recall my dad buying me Great Garloo at a local toy store. I spent hours having him trash my American Flyer train layout. This was something new for the times. It was a wired remote control which worked the legs and the posable grasping arms. It was lost during the last house move and remains so today.
