I've been using Bloglines to keep up with my Blog RSS feeds. Unfortunately, Bloglines doesn't seem to function in a timely manner. Many feeds are dormant for weeks, then all the sudden there are 200 posts to go through. Does anyone out there have any tips or recommendations on a better reader? I'm thinking about using Google's reader as I already use Gmail and Google's calendar thingie. Any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
UPDATE: Thanks for all the tips. Seems like everybody likes Google Reader.

I had the same problem with Bloglines. I got fed up with it not even opening, and then displaying 200 posts when it finally did work. I switched to google reader, and though it took some adjusting to, I think it's much better.

I switched to Google Reader a few months ago and I'm pretty happy with it...

I switched from NetNewsWire to Google Reader a couple of years ago, and am pleased with how it holds up... also has good mobile options for simple browsers

I've loved using rss2email for so long, I became the project maintainer. It would also play nicely with GMail.

iGoogle--you don't even have to use Google Reader, you can set up an entire tab or tabs with "widgets" of all your RSS feeds and drag them to any spot you like.
See also MyYahoo. Unhip, but it has great layout, can display your feeds in any order you like, nice post summaries and inline reader (view complete individual posts inside MyYahoo). I don't care about the hip quotient, so I use MyYahoo.

If you're on a Mac, you can't go wrong with the free NetNewsWire app. Plus you can read your feeds online at newsgator.

I'm a big fan of all things Google, but Netvibes beats their reader hands down.
