Harry & Otto Preminger visit with Hef to promote "Skidoo". Harry sings (with the house band) "Good Old Desk" & "Together" and tries to sing the credits from "Skidoo".

Looks like he's having the first of several glasses of champagne. Another astonishing find.

I love this clip.
Years later, Harry admitted he was bullshitting Hefner about "Good Old Desk" being about G.O.D.
Now, you have to find Harry's appearance on "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir"...

Thanks for posting this. I'd heard about this for years, and had never seen it. When do we get your next Nilsson comp?

I've been dying to see Harry perform a song live for years. Thanks for posting this. Do you know how many and what songs he did on the special and where in the world I can find a copy of it?

By the time I found Harry (I was 16) he'd entered his shaggy phase (Nilsson Schmilsson) so it was fun to see him as a clean-cut, blonde Beatle. I also loved his jokester persona, which seems to cover an underlying shyness or modesty.
I haven't seen Skidoo and it looks like it might be hard to get (and perhaps not worth the effort). But the trivia page was fascinating:
Thanks for the classic Harry clip!
