The mediocrity of the direction (close up and closer up!) is only exceeded by the music. This song is the "filler" that typifies the olden days.
If you dared to invest in the LP (vs. 79 cents for the "96 Tears" single), you learned a tough lesson...the meaning of a "1 Hit Wonder".
