I came up with the name Uncola when I was about 10 years old.
My father worked at a public relations/media firm called Associated Release Service in Chicago, and he asked me for a good name for a drink that wanted to say it is different from other soft drinks and I said Uncola. I have a leter dating back to the 1960's from 7 UP thanking me for the name.
