My brother says he remembers this on the radio when we were kids, but I don't. Maybe that's what 3 years gets ya.

The Left Banke is the only American band that had the potential to rival The Beatles, with the possible exeption of The Beachboys.

@ Guapo - I loved the Left Banke, but, for a couple of years The Byrds WERE the the rivals of the Beatles. The Beatles even looked to The Byrds for inspiration. See the part under 'HISTORY' - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/If_I_Needed_Someone. It reveals that George Harrison openly copied The Byrds.
