I love the Flaming Ember, never got to see them in person but they did a show in cleveland, oh..... yes i said cleveland Oh on a show called Upbeat" Back in the 60& 70's was a very popular show with Don Webster as the MC ( a former weather man)
Jerry was so soulful, see he had us all fooled we thought they were a black soul group. Didnt matter he and the group had us all hooked on "westbound #9 and mind body and soul' and some other's like im not my brother's keeper and others. See flaming ember was the 'it group" to me and my friends. I hear even now, Jerry dont miss a beat on them there drums! All i can say is , jerry... never get tired of listening to ya have a good one out there, and i sure wish you would do some more music, and maybe a local show in "OHIO". Peace and Love". Shelly
