God I love these guys. Even if they did just record the same LP 4 or 5 times. One of my 5 Favorite bands of the last 20 years, saw them twice live and they sounded amazing, although they didn't look very...happy. Buy The La's (Deluxe) [Extra tracks, Import]

What are you on about? The La's only ever released one LP.

They recorded the same LP several times with different producers. That's what I'm on about. At least 2 of those versions have been released now.
"From 1987 to 1990, The La's worked with several producers to record their debut album, including John Porter, Gavin MacKillop, John Leckie, Bob Andrews, Jeremy Allom and Mike Hedges. The final sessions for the album were recorded December 1989–February 1990 at the Eden Studios, London with producers Steve Lillywhite and Mark Wallis."
"A new version of this seminal album, recorded by Mike Hedges (who has also worked with U2, Manic Street Preachers and The Cure) has been found on a c60 cassette, digitally remastered and released for the first time as part of The La's - Deluxe Edition."
