It was always the anchor of all those Motown songs, the Fender bass and the man behind it James Jamerson..so sad that he's gone and not here to tell the story behind his genus.
You can't duplacate the sounds of that day because it was the way the studio sounded, the was the tubes sounded, the way the board sounded etc. that made those songs what they are today, true period piece just like the art work in a museum.
