Les Irrésistibles : renamed in Paris during 1967 and formed by American expat's: Jim Mc Mains (vocals/keyboards), his twin brother Steve Mc Mains (guitar), Tom Arena (lead guitar) and Andy Cornelius (drums), the band were previously residents in Los Angeles under the monicker : "The Beloved Ones" since 1966. In '68 French Pop singer, William Sheller, who was starting a carreer on his own, wrote "My year is a day" for them. This song made a smash hit throughout the media in France that year (it reached #2 in France in may and #10 in Switzerland). Later on Sheller, who was also working in production then, went on to be a a very popular M.O.R. singer in France during the late '70S/'80s... And Les Irrésistibles made an underrated Pop'sike album : "The Story of Baxter Williams" in the Bee Gees' vein that Y'all should score! This may be their earliest French TV :
