Fred Talmadge

I've never heard of this band and I was alive and rocking then. Did they ever come to the US? And why not?


They certainly had records released in the US, just not hits. I know their LP "Parachute' was like a Rolling Stone LP of the Year or something... What the Stones were to the Beatles, The Pretty Things were to the Stones. Just a bit heavier, druggier, more dangerous.

I looked at Amazon and they have several of their albums. Will check it out and thanks for the great site. Lotus of interesting stuff.
