WFMU Record And CD Fair

The WFMU Record And CD Fair will be starting tonight, Friday the 2nd of November. Bedazzled will be putting on a couple of different video presentations.

On Saturday from 1-3pm we'll present a Tribute To Lee Hazlewood & Nancy Sinatra Featuring Lee's Rare 1970 Swedish TV Special "Cowboy In Sweden", the 1975 Special "Nancy & Lee in Las Vegas" as well as some Nancy & Lee duets from Nancy's showcase "Movin' With Nancy."

On Sunday from Noon-1:30pm we'll be showing "The Bedazzled Video Hour and a Half 2007". This years' presentation focuses on the Softer Side of Pop Music: Singer-Songwriter, Easy Listening, Soft Rock, Sunshine Pop, Adult Oriented Rock and much more, with an emphasis on TV and Movie appearances, movie trailers and TV Commercials. The Bedazzled! Video Hour (and a half) 2007

It's WFMU Record Show time again and Bedazzled! has put together our annual "Video Hour (and a half)". "Some Velvet Morning" Nancy Sinatra & Lee Hazlewood

"Some Velvet Morning" has it's own Wikipedia Entry: "Some Velvet Morning" is a psychedelic pop song written by Lee Hazlewood and originally recorded by Hazlewood and Nancy Sinatra in late 1967. It first appeared on Sinatra's album Movin' with Nancy. The song has been covered many times since, almost always as a duet. Although "Some Velvet Morning" is one of the more famous duets Hazlewood and Sinatra recorded together, it is considered a departure from their usual fare, as it is decidedly less influenced by country & western music. The single peaked at number 26 on the Billboard Hot 100 in February 1968." Something about this song really reminds me of Scott Walker.
